When Snow Magic Sheet Mask Review

When, a Korean skincare brand founded by a group of skin specialists from a range of fields, says their Snow Magic Sheet Mask is for "when your skin is looking dull and lackluster... When Snow Magic Bio-cellulose sheet mask soaked in intensely hydrating serum formulated with Niacinamide and Aloe Vera Leaf Extract that will help to add a beautiful glow back to skin stressed out by UV rays and heat." The Snow Magic Sheet Mask is available individually for $7, or in a $28 pack of four. When products are not cruelty free, and are made in Korea.

The Snow Magic Sheet Mask comes in a very appealing sky blue sachet that offers a product description, directions for use, and a full ingredient list in several languages, as well as an easy to understand diagram. The mask it's self is a thick but flexible mask that's made of coconut biocellulose. This mask was much larger than any other sheet mask I've tried (granted that's pretty limited), but it was easy to form fit to my face. The biocellulose mask had great staying power and never slipped during the entire half hour I wore it - it stayed put so well that I was able to continue doing light chores. This mask's outer packaging is recyclable, while the mask it's self is biodegradable.

I'm not a sheet mas fanatic, most of the ones I've tried have been disappointing, but When's Snow Magic Sheet Mask is an exception - I actually really loved it! After an impromptu trip to Athol Bay Sunday afternoon, my skin was dull and a bit dehydrated, giving me the perfect opportunity to test out this hydrating sheet mask. I applied the mask around 8pm and continued on with my night, wearing it for a half hour, as directed. I started getting a little antsy about taking it off after twenty minutes, and experienced a slight itch - but I'm not sure if it was a figment of my imagination or not. Whether the itch was real or not, I suffered no irritation or negative effects from When's Snow Magic mask - rather the opposite! Removing the mask, I found that the essence was almost entirely absorbed, with very little patting in required. My skin looked bright and even, and felt plump and very firm. My skin looked so glowy and youthful, Snow Magic had a definite "18 again" effect on my skin. By the next morning, the resulting firmness had decreased but my skin was still bright and dewy. I squeezed the remaining serum into a little container - there was so much that I got three more applications! While the essence wasn't quite as effective on it's own as it was with the sheet mask, it still hydrated and plumped my skin with each re-application.

The Snow Magic Sheet Mask essence has a base of water, butylene glycol, and hydrating glycerin, followed by a healthy dose of one of my favorite ingredients - niacinamide. As much as I hate the term *miracle ingredient*, I think that's almost accurate for niacinamide, aka Vitamin B3. This vitamin has so many benefits for the skin - it helps to even out skin tone, control pore size, and repairs the skin. Following niacinamide, you'll find soothing chamomile and aloe extracts, antixoidant rich bamboo and pine extracts, among standard texture enhancers. Minuscule amounts of flower extracts, as well as colloidal platinum - a luxe ingredient with supposed anti-aging benefits (though I doubt it would have any effect at such a tiny concentration). Fragrance is included at the tail end of this mask's ingredient list, imparting a light but crisp citrus scent.

I'm really impressed with When's Snow Magic Sheet Mask! This sheet mask's brightening and plumping effect, combined with it's niacinamide rich formula, made it a complete hit for me! I'd love to see a bottled version of the essence - I'd definitely buy that! When Snow Magic Sheet Mask is one of the most effective sheet masks I've tried, and I'd repurchase it as an occasional treat if it was easily available here in Aus. If your skin is dehydrated and you're looking for a quick pick me up, When's Snow Magic mask is worth trying!
