Elizabeth Mott Cherry Tints&Sass Lip and Cheek Stain Review+Swatches

Elizabeth Mott's new Tints&Sass is the "only head turning lip and cheek stain that gives you fail proof color every time! Our non-drying formula lasts all day, even after a power lunch and yoga session, and was created to accommodate every second of a gal's busy schedule. Our gentle and lightweight formula feels like its barely there, unlike heavy lipsticks and rouges. The soft tipped applicator makes it ridiculously easy to swipe onto cheeks, creating a natural, yet unforgettably sexy glow." This lip and cheek tint is currently available in just one flavor - Cherry. Elizabeth Mott's Tints&Sass contains 10 grams/.35 oz and sells for $22.99. Elizabeth Mott is cruelty free. This product was made in the USA.

Tints&Sass has super cute packaging. This tint comes in a red bottle. The product name is printed on the front of the bottle in white lettering. The black plastic cap features a cute garter belt design. Attached to the cap is an elongated doe foot applicator that makes application quite easy. Packaging is recyclable.
Tints&Sass. Wow what a name! I love it! This lip and cheek stain has a wet gel consistency that's easy to apply and blend on both the skin and lips. Tints&Sass performs better on the cheeks than on the mouth. This cheek tint sinks into the skin, with a natural, slightly glowy finish. Tints&Sass doesn't cling to dry patches, nor does it accentuate pores. Longevity is good, I get about 7 hours of wear from this cheek stain. As with all liquid stains, be sure to apply Tints&Sass before any powder products. On the lips, Elizabeth Motts' stain is slightly drying, but nothing a little bit of balm can't fix (Tints&Sass pairs wonderfully with Benefit's BeneBalm). Cherry wears poorly on my lips, it fades unevenly and is entirely gone within two and a half hours - not too impressive for a 'stain'. Tints&Sass doesn't enhance dryness or lip imperfections, nor does it transfer. If you couldn't have guessed it from the shade name, Tints&Sass has a cherry scent and flavor that leans a little artificial, but still pleasant.
Cherry is a gorgeous, translucent rosy red, a la BeneTint. This bright red stain has great color payoff, but it blends down to a lovely reddish pink flush. Cherry has no shimmer, but it provides a glossy finish on the lips, and a slightly glowy finish on the skin.
I love Elizabeth Motts' Tints&Sass on the cheeks, but I don't love it on the lips. This cheek stain looks very natural, and is easy to apply. Tints&Sass looks great when freshly applied to the lips, but it wears poorly and fades fast. The color is gorgeous, like a more potent BeneTint. The packaging style and product name are frisky and cute, I really like it! I'll keep using this lip and cheek tint, but I don't think I'd repurchase it.
