Out with the Old - April 2016 Empties

Normally if I had so few empties I wouldn't bother to post and I'd just carry these couple of empties over to the next month, but I'm really trying to get back in my blogging routine! I've been here a month so jetlag is not longer an excuse for my lazy blogging practices. I only managed to finish four products in the entire month of April, but considering I just moved around the world and only brought about a third of my stash with me I don't think that's too bad! As always products I have a backup of or intend to repurchase will be marked with an asterisk (*).

Diamond Wipes Cleansing Makeup Remover Towelette
For being a generic makeup remover wipe from a Holiday Inn, this face wipe was pretty good! Dean and I only stayed overnight, but they had left a handful of them in the bathroom, which I swiped and kept in my bag for makeup removal emergencies. I wouldn't go out of my way to get more, but if you stay in a hotel that stocks them, they're worth using.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Lash Blast Mascara*
This mascara has been my go to for years - I've finished too many tubes to count. I knew this was just about empty, but I managed to get another 2.5 weeks of use out of it. I did bring a backup with me, which I'll be starting again soon. Yinz know how I feel about this mascara - its perfect - length and volume without any clumps, what's not to love? I'll probably use this forever.

Bella Pierre Ebony Mineral Gel Eyeliner
This pencil liner was excellent for me! Smooth, pigmented, long wearing - but a pain in the ass to remove! I flew through the pencil, using it to down to a nub. The last bit of product became kinda loose and eventually fell out of the pencil. While I loved this pencil, I wouldn't repurchase it because it's extremely similar to the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil, which is a couple bucks cheaper. Still, if you're thinking about a new gel pencil, this is a great option!

Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes*
I'm not usually a fan of face wipes, and I never depend on them for a true cleanse, but these Simple Wipes were good! While I enjoyed them for makeup removal, I found them particularly refreshing on my flight - 30 hours, 3 countries, you get a little gross and sweaty, and the Simple wipes saved my day. They're not currently sold in Australia, but if they ever are, I might buy a packet to keep on hand.

What have you finished lately?
