Bella Pierre Ebony Mineral Gel Eyeliner Pencil Review+Swatches

Bella Pierre's Mineral Gel Eyeliner is a "creamy, waterproof eyeliner for true definition that lasts all day. These liners glide on smoothly, and are formulated with pure minerals, natural waxes, and antioxidants – making them hypoallergenic and safe for all skin types." These gel pencils contain 1.8 grams (.06 oz) and retail for $15 - I received mine in an Ipsy Bag, in Ebony - five other shades are also available. Bella Pierre is cruelty free. This eyeliner was made in China.

The Mineral Gel Eyeliners have pretty standard packaging for a pencil liner. This is a black wooden pencil with a matching cap. The product name, ingredient list, and miscellaneous brand information are printed on the pencil in silver lettering - but its rubbed entirely off of mine. Not cool. What is cool, however, is how smoothly and evenly this pencil sharpens. I don't think that packaging is recyclable.
I'm gonna keep this review brief for two reasons - 1), this is a black pencil liner, there's only so much I can possibly say, and 2), it's fantastic and I have no complaint so get ready for a bit of gushing. Bella Pierre's Mineral Gel Eyeliner is exceptionally smooth and creamy, it glides right on, depositing a line of rich, opaque color. This matte, pigmented, deep black pencil remains blendable for about 30 seconds, and after that it is SET. The Mineral Gel Eyeliner lasts forever (12+ hours) on both the eyelid and waterline, with no smudging or fading to speak of. Actually, this waterproof eyeliner is very difficult to remove! Even my most dependable makeup removers struggle to completely dissolve Bella Pierre's gel pencil - this eyeliner can stay up in my lash roots for DAYS. Where does it hide?
Bella Pierre's Ebony Mineral Gel Eyeliner was a surprise hit for me. This black pencil liner meets all my standards - long wearing, deep black. easy to apply. I love it! That being said, I don't think this pencil is terribly unique - its actually extremely similar to my favorite pencil liners, the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pens; which are a couple bucks cheaper. Seeing as a I have a marginally more affordable and more easily accessed dupe, I personally won't repurchase Bella Pierre's Mineral Gel Eyeliner, but I'm really enjoying it, and I do recommend it if you're looking for something to try from this brand.
