Sugarpill's single pressed shadows come in little round compacts with a black plastic pan and a clear flip top that bear's the brand's logo. The shade name can be found on the bottom of the pan. Sorry I can't provide photos of the packaging, my pan of Flamepoint is housed in the trade show exclusive Sugarpill Pro Palette.
After years of hearing bloggers and YouTubers go on about how great Sugarpill's eyeshadows are, I was disappointed to find them hit or miss. I wasn't sure if Flamepoint would be one of the good ones - I mean lets be honest, a decent orange eyeshadow is hard to come by. That being said, Flamepoint is amazing. This is a truly fantastic eyeshadow! Flamepoint has a luxuriously smooth texture that kicks up just the smallest amount of excess powder. This eyeshadow packs onto the eyelid with intense payoff, and it blends like a dream - Flamepoint is a treat to work with. My only problem with this shadow is the mild fallout that it causes during application, but I can look past it. Flamepoint is extremely pigmented, you barely have to touch your brush to the shadow to pick up more than enough product to cover your whole eyelid! I get excellent wear from this bold orange eyeshadow - over a primer is has lasted me more than nine hours without creasing or fading. Surprisingly, this bright and intensely pigmented eyeshadow does not stain my eyelids - that's almost as shocking as the color!
Sugarpill describes Flamepoint as a "vibrant matte orange", which is spot on. Flamepoint is the perfect orange, not too yellow, not too red, like the skin of a ripe tangerine. The finish of this shadow is a divinely smooth, velvety matte.
