NYX Sinful Wicked Lippie Review+Swatches

NYX Sinful Wicked Lipstick
NYX says "take a walk on the wild side with our jewel toned lippies, available in 12 shimmering shades. Velvety smooth with a dazzling metallic finish, these richly pigmented lipsticks  will leave your lips with the ultimate spellbinding look." I have four of the twelve shades available; today I'm reviewing my favorite of the bunch, Sinful. Each NYX Wicked Lippie contains 4.2 grams (.15 oz) and cost $6 a piece. NYX is cruelty free. This lipstick was made in Taiwan.

NYX Sinful Wicked Lipstick
NYX Wicked Lippies come in black plastic tubes; the NYX logo and product name are printed on the front of the tube in white lettering, a full ingredient list is available on the back of the tube. The shade name and number are printed on the top, bottom, and side of the tube, so no matter how you choose to store your Wicked Lippies, you'll always know exactly which shade you're reaching for. If you've ready any of my reviews for the NYX Wicked, Butter, or Macaron Lippie lines, you'll know that I hate this packaging, because typically the twist mechanism is too weak to support the bullet during application - but that's not the case with this particular tube. For once, the packaging is functional! This lipstick's packaging is recyclable.
NYX Sinful Wicked Lipstick
[excuse the messy pics, its very hot and this lipstick is kinda melty]
Sinful is leaps and bounds better than the other Wicked Lippies that I've tried. This gorgeous blue lipstick has a rich, creamy formula that applies so, so smoothly. Sinful feels great on the lips, its quite moisturizing, even after its worn away. Speaking of which, I get surprisingly good wear from Sinful! This beautiful sapphire hued lipstick lasts three to four hours on me, with minimal transferring or slipping - though a bit of this lipstick has been known to show up on my teeth from time to time. Sinful wears away unevenly, and leaves behind a strong blue stain that's difficult to remove, even with an oil based product. The NYX Wicked Lippies have a mild waxy scent but not noticeable flavor.
NYX describes Sinful as a "deep cobalt blue with silver pearl." Sinful is a deep yet bright royal blue with a shiny, creamy finish and a few sparse fleck of silver shimmer. Sinful has excellent, full on color coverage in just one swipe. This color is just so beautiful, and it kinda reminds me of one of my favorite candies - Jelly Belly Blueberry jelly beans.
NYX Sinful Wicked Lippie on lips
NYX Wicked Lippie in Sinful is a gorgeous, shiny royal blue lipstick with a really nice formula. Sinful is creamy, moisturizing, with good longevity and pigmentation - I love it, I just don't love the stain it leaves behind. If you want an affordable blue lipstick with a good formula, I strongly recommend Sinful!
