Clairol Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask Review

Clairol's Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask is "inspired by pampering and relaxing ingredients known to hydrate and condition the hair. Uniquely infused with honey and apricot fragrance. A luxurious treat for your hair. Moisture Hair Mask provides a rich moisture protect for smooth, manageable hair. Paraben free, mineral oil free." This hair mask contains 180ml (6.3 fl oz) and sell for $11.99 at Target. Clairol is not cruelty free. The Hair Food Moisture Mask was made in Thailand.

This hair mask comes in a tall, gold squeeze tube with a black flip top cap. The product name and description can be found on the front, with directions and an ingredient list on the back. All packaging is recyclable.

Clairol's Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask is a rich, creamy conditioner that's meant to be applied to wet hair and left in for several minutes before being rinsed out - Clairol doesn't give a time frame, but I usually keep the Hair Food mask in for 5-8 minutes. This deep conditioning mask rinses out of my hair cleanly, and leaves me with nice results. The Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask leaves my thick hair silky and soft, while helping to detangle the knottier areas. My hair type is quite normal, and colored with henna dye, and the Hair Food mask suits it well. I think the Moisture Hair Mask would benefit moderately oily (if only applied to the lengths), to lightly dry hair. This conditioning mask has a sweet honey apricot scent that lingers in the hair for a couple of hours.

Clairol's Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask isn't a remarkable product, but its pretty good. This deep conditioner is suited to a majority of hair types, and will leave you with silky locks that smell pleasant. The price is reasonable - $12 for a large tube that'll last you a good while. I wouldn't repurchase the Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask, I have other hair masks that I prefer (with more impressive ingredient lists), but I think this mask is a good budget option that's worth trying out.
