Borghese Brightside, Chaos, Odyssey, and Omen Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Glosses Review+Swatches

Borghese says "lustrous and captivating, Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Gloss is a hydrating lip gloss that offers high shine and color. Ultra reflective pigment and pearl deliver a luminous glow." The Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Glosses are available in nine shades, today I am reviewing four of them - Brightside, Chaos, Odyssey, and Omen. Each of these glosses contains 3.25ml (.10 fl oz) and sells for $21.50 a piece. I was lucky enough to win these glosses in a giveaway hosted by Katy from Skin Stuff by Katy. Borghese is not cruelty free. These glosses are made in America.

Packaging for Borghese's Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Glosses is pretty attractive, in my opinion! These glosses come in long, clear plastic tubes topped with a slate grey cap that fades to bronze. The Borghese logo is printed on the tube in black lettering. The name of the each gloss can be found on the base of the tubes. The Eclissare ColorGlass glosses have a basic doefoot applicator. Packaging doesn't seem to be recyclable.
Brightside, Chaos, Odyssey, Omen
The Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Glosses have a fairly standard formula, to be honest. These glosses are thin, but a little tacky. Borghese claims that this gloss formula is moisturizing, but I'm going to have to disagree here - I find the ColorGlass glosses just a little bit drying. As a whole, these glosses have good lasting power, about 2-3 hours. The somewhat sticky formula prevents slipping and transferring. The Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Glosses have a sweet, citrusy orange scent but minimal flavor.
Borghese Eclissare ColorGlass Brightside Lip Swatch
Brightside is a sheer champagne shade with lots of gold shimmer. This gloss provides little to no color, just a wash of shimmer. Brightside would make a really pretty topper for nude and coral lipsticks. Out of the bunch, this is my most used shade. Also, its kinda random, but something about this color reminds me of ginger ale lol. I could go for a can of Seagram's.
Borghese Eclissare ColorGlass Chaos Lip Swatch
Chaos is a clear gloss with loads of silver and baby blue glitter. Once again, pretty much no payoff, making Chaos better for layering than wearing alone - I suggest pairing it with cool pinks, or maybe lilac shades. This is my least used Eclissare ColorGlass glosses.
Borghese Eclissare ColorGlass Odyssey Lip Swatch
Odyssey is a sheer bronze gloss with gold and orange shimmer. Odyssey is a great summery shade and probably the easiest of the four shades to pull off on it's own. You'll be seeing Odyssey in my June LipPicks!
Borghese Eclissare ColorGlass Omen Lip Swatch
Omen is a translucent plum with silver and gold shimmer. I love this shade's cool grey undertone, it makes Omen the most interesting color of the four. I love sheer purple glosses like Omen in the colder months!
Borghese Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Glosses are good. Packaging is attractive! These glosses are a little bit tacky, but that helps these gloses last a decent amount of time. These glosses are sheerer and more shimmery than I typically prefer but I quite like three of the four shades (nothing is wrong with Chaos, it just isn't a shade I reach for often). I think the Eclissare ColorGlass glosses are pricey for what they are, but if you fall for one of the colors, its worth picking up.
