Mitchell&Peach Luxury Hand Cream Review

Mitchell&Peach says "this easily absorbed hand cream contains vitamin E, shea butter, and English honey to soften, nourish, and protect the skin." This hand cream is scented with Mitchell&Peach's signature Flora no.1 fragrance. The Luxury Hand Cream contains 60ml (2 fl oz) and sells for £17 ($25.50). I received a half sized tube in an Ipsy Bag. Mitchell&Peach is a family owned, cruelty free company based in Kent. This hand cream was made in England.

Mitchell&Peach's Luxury Hand Cream comes in a semi-opaque white squeeze tube. The brand logo and product name are printed on the front in delicate black lettering. An ingredient list is included on the back of the tube. Plain as it is, this hand cream's packaging looks quite posh.

Mitchell&Peach's Luxury Hand Cream is just alright to me, in both fragrance and in formula. This hand cream is lightweight, and it sinks in very quickly. Mitchell&Peach's hand cream imparts light, short lived, moisture. This satiny cream is quite softening, but it doesn't offer any other benefits. Reapplication is necessary, I find myself reaching for more of the Luxury Hand Cream every couple hours.

Flora no.1 is described as a "sophisticated floral structured around rose, ylang-ylang, peony, and lavender, emboldened with larkspur and sweet fennel." That sounds quite nice, even though I'm not really one for florals. Unforunately, Flora no.1 comes across as very one-noted, at least in hand cream form. Mitchell&Peach's Luxury Hand Cream smells like straight up lavender, and quite strongly at that. The scent lingers for about 20 minutes after application.

Mitchell&Peach's Flora no.1 Hand Cream is just ok, in my opinion. The best part is the packaging, which is elegant yet simple. This softening hand cream will provide a bit of moisture, but don't be surprised if your hands feel dry again in just a few hours. Flora no.1 is a pure lavender scent, which I'm not a fan of. I hope the perfume is more nuanced. I'll finish my little bottle of Mitchell&Peach's Luxury Hand Cream, but I wouldn't repurchase or recommend it, the results don't warrant the $25+ price tag.
