NYX describes Scandalous as a "teal with silver shimmer", which is pretty spot on. Scandalous is a beautiful medium teal blue with warm, greenish tones to it, and scant amounts of fine silver shimmer. The shimmer particles are not apparent on the lips, where it takes on more of a satin finish. I'm a big fan of blue lipsticks, I think they can be much more wearable than most people think, but I don't think Scandalous suits me very well. I think this would be a great blue for those with tan skin.
NYX Wicked Lippie in Scandalous isn't their best, to be honest. The blue leaning teal is a gorgeous color, but the formula is too slippy. This lipstick slides around and can't even make it to the two hour mark. If you love the color, pick it up, because it'll be near impossible to find a dupe with a better formula. If you want a blue lipstick with more lasting power, I recommend NYX' Macaron Lippie in Blue Velvet over this one. Don't be discouraged by Scandalous' poor performance, I've had much better luck with the other Wicked Lippies that I've tried and will be reviewing shortly!
