DuWop Lemongrass Duet Eyeshadow Review+Swatches

DuWop's Duet Eyeshadows are "an enchanting combination of velvety smooth powder eyeshadows." I'm reviewing Lemongrass, a set of two very interesting greens. DuWop's Duets contain 2.4 grams (.08 oz) and formerly retailed for $17. DuWop has discontinued their eyeshadow duets, but they're still available from several eTailers. I picked Lemongrass up at IMATS for $10. DuWop does not test on animals. This eyeshadow duo was made in America.

DuWop's Duets have simple packaging - they come in a square, pinky bronze compacts. The brand logo is printed on the front of the compact, the shade name can be found on the back. Pop this cute little compact open and you'll find two semi-circular pans of eyeshadow. Packaging is recyclable.
These are some nice eyeshadows - nothing special, but nice! Both powder eyeshadows are soft but not powdery, easy to pick up with a brush. Both shades blend beautifully, they're a pleasure to work with. Pigmentation is middle of the road. They're fine on their own, but a primer helps, of course. DuWop's Lemongrass Duet wears pretty well, over a primer these shadows last seven hours before they begin to crease and fade.
Shade 1 is a muted spring green with small flecks of gold glitter. This shade has a frosty finish.

Shade 2 is a frosted, greyed olive with a mix of silver and gold shimmer. This shade becomes greener when blended out .
DuWop's Duet in Lemongrass is good, but not great. The eyeshadows have a nice texture, good pigmentation, and decent wear. Both shades are pretty and unique, plus they pair well together; creating a soft, wearable green look. If the colors appeal to you, by all means hunt this duo down before its gone. I've seen prices range from $2-30.

    1. That's what I'm here for. I'm sure these would look awesome on you. And I think DuWop focuses on lip products, so you might not be thanking me soon.
