NYX' brand new Suede Palette ($12), is a limited edition, eight pan eyeshadow palette that features a variety of both neutrals and jewel tones. This richly pigmented palette contains a variety of finishe, ranging from satin, to metallic, to shimmer. All eight shades have excellent color payoff, though one or two are a little resistant to blending. I particularly love that deep, blackened teal shade!
While I mostly have good things to say about the Suede palettes, there are two downsides. Pretty much all of the eyeshadows kick up a fair amount of excess powder, infecting each other. On top of that, packaging is disappointing. The palette is made of flimsy cardboard with a flexible clear top. Normally I don't mind cardboard packaging, but the material this palette is made of is exceptionally lightweight.
