Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer Review

Simple says their Protecting Light Moisturizer has a "non-oily and non-greasy formula" that "quickly absorbs and leaves skin soft, hydrated, and protected. It contains SPF 15 to protect against UV damage."  This moisturizer contains 124ml (4.2 fl oz) and retails for around $12. Simple says their products contain no animal derived ingredients, but don't let them fool you into thinking they're vegan friendly - this brand does test on animals. This moisturizer was made in the USA.

I like Simple's packaging style, its plain but attractive. Their Protecting Light Moisturizer comes in a white cardboard box that offers a good deal of product information. The product it's self is housed in an opaque, white, ovular bottle with a green flip top cap. The product name and a few simple claims are printed on the front label. More general info can be found on the back of the bottle. Packaging is recyclable.
There's really not much for me to say about Simple's Protecting Light Moisturizer, its an extremely basic product that does exactly what you'd expect from a moisturizer - no more, no less. Simple's Protecting Light Moisturizer is a thin, white lotion. It absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling hydrated but not at all greasy. Calling this a 'light' moisturizer is accurate, it provides just the right amount of hydration to quench normal to combo skin for a full day. This fragrance free moisturizer contains SPF 15, and smells like classic sun screen
Simple's Protecting Light Moisturizer is nothing special, but it gets the job done. This mainstream moisturizer is best for those with normal skin. I don't really have much else to say. I think the $10-12 price tag is a little bit high. If your skin isn't needy, and you can get a deal on Simple products, this moisturizer may be worth trying. Personally, I'd choose Olay's Complete Moisturizer over this one, but they do pretty much the same thing.

    1. Honestly, I'm not a fan of Simple's products, but this one is good. I'm happy the brand works for you though.

  2. Kinda slack to imply they don't test on animals when they do.

    1. They don't say whether or not they test, they just imply that their products are vegan friendly.
