Revlon Coquette Colorburst Lacquer Balm Review

Revlon's Colorburst Lacquer Balms offer a "lacquer finish that's beyond brilliant. Balm that's beyond comforting. Our Triple Butter complex of shea, coconut, and mango butters nourish lips." Revlon offers ten shades, this review features Coquette. Each Colorburst Lacquer Balm contains 2.3 grams and retails for around $9 at drugstores and major retailers. Revlon is not cruelty free. This jumbo lip crayon was made in America.

Revlon's Lacquer Balms are packaged pretty similarly to all other lip crayons. The tubes are color matched and mirrored, with the Revlon logo and product name printed in silver lettering. The shade name and number can be found on the bottom of the silver twist mechanism. Product twists up and down smoothly.
I kinda love Revlon's Color Burst Lacquer Balm! This jumbo lip crayon has a silky, creamy texture that helps it glide on to the lips with ease. These lip crayons, or at least Coquette, offers medium to full, buildable color payoff. I get average wear from this lip crayon - roughly two hours. Coquette is prone to transferring onto cups and cheeks, but it doesn't smear out of the lip line. This pigmented balm is very comfortable to wear and leaves my lips feeling moist, even hours after the products worn away. Revlon's Colorburst Lacquer Balms have a minty scent and flavor, and a slight tingle upon application.
Coquette is such a pretty shade! I'm not usually into pink lip products, but I can't get enough of this bright, cool pink. Coquette has plenty of flecks of small, silver glitter sprinkled through it. The glitter isn't noticeable when Coquette is freshly applied, but it becomes much more apparent as the color wears away. Coquette, and all of Revlon's Colorburst Lacquer Balms features a high shine, glossy finish.
I'm in love with Revlon's Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Coquette! No complaints here - I love the slick, moisturizing, and well pigmented formula, as well as the bright, glossy pink color. I'd appreciate longer wear, but two hours if pretty average for me. As with all jumbo lip crayons, the Colorburst Lacquer Balms are convenient to carry around and a cinch to apply anywhere, anytime. I definitely recommend Revlon's Coquette Colorburst Lacquer Balms. I hope to pick up more shades in the future!
