Innoxa Peach&Posy Velvet Blush Duo Review

Innoxa says their Velvet Blush Duos are "perfect for creating a subtle, natural flush" and boasts a formula that "contains antioxidants and vitamins to help product against environmental damage and premature aging." I'm not at all familiar with this Aussie brand, I've never given it a second look when passing it by at drugstores, but for some reason their display caught my eye during a trip to Myers. This blusher duo is available in two shade selections, I'll be reviewing Peach&Posy. This duo retails for $14.95 AUD. Innoxa is a cruelty free brand. This blush duo was made in Taiwan. Innoxa products are available at drugstores in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Packaging for Innoxa's Velvet Blush Duo is plain but functional. A grey palette with two round pans of blush firmly glued in. The Innoxa logo and product name are printed in grey letters on the clear lid. The lettering is already beginning to rub away. A full ingredient list and brief description can be found on the back of the compact.
Peach is a matte, orangey-peachy shade that appears much brighter on the pan than it does on the cheek. Peach is quite warm toned and gives the skin a healthy, sun-kissed look. This blush is decently pigmented, it applies sheerly but is definitely buildable. The matte finish makes Peach a little difficult to blend. This blusher kicks up a fair bit of excess powder. Wear is good, I get about 7 hours of wear from Innoxa's Peach.
Posy is a bright, bubblegum pink with small flecks of silver shimmer. Posy is quite sheer and not very buildable. The flecks of shimmer aren't visible on the cheeks - they mesh well with the pigment, giving off a glowy, fresh finish. What Posy lacks in pigment it makes up for with blendability, it is significantly easier to work with than Peach. This powder blush also kicks up a fair bit of residual powder, though not as much as it's sister shade. Posy's wear is subpar, sticking around for about five hours.

Innoxa's Velvet Powder Duo in Peach&Posy is decent, but nothing impressive. Packaging is plain and a little on the cheap side. Both of these blushes are quite powdery, neither of them are exceptionally pigmented. But the way I see it, for $15AUD this powder blush duo is a good value - you get a matte and a shimmer finish and two shades to mix into custom colors. While Innoxa's Velvet Blush Duo isn't the best, I think its a good drugstore option for makeup novices looking to delve into the world of blush.
