As mentioned in previous I Love reviews, these shower gel's packaging is reminiscent of Philosophy's, but girlier. A clear, round, recyclable, plastic bottle with a black flip top cap. I Love has a unique. playful, English tone to their product description, directions, and even warnings. It's really appealing and quite different from the much more serious nature of American products. The quirkiness of the labeling fits the product really well.
I Love describes the scent of Coconut&Cream as an "exotic explosion of sweet coconut and velvety cream", the aroma of which is supposed to "leave you drifting away to your very own idyllic beach hideaway". Honestly the scent of Coconut&Cream doesn't say "beach" to me. It's a really unique coconut scent, that isn't anything like the common tropical or fruity coconut scents. Coconut&Cream is very warm and rich, smelling like toasted coconut, or a coconut based baked goods. It has a creamy note to it, but it isn't strong. I've never smelt such a warm coconut fragrance before, it's a nice change up from the the normal, cool, beachy scents. This is also the first I Love product I haven't' associated the scent with a jelly bean flavor. Coconut&Cream is a very happy scent, that's kind of comforting, and makes me feel goods.
Lots of Bubbles Coconut&Cream is a medium consistency gel that looks like a grey-white in the bottle, but it comes out clear. Unfortunately this isn't the best lathering bath product I own. I have to use quite a lot of product to get a good amount of bubbles or lather.
As a whole, this line of bubble bath isn't particularly good. It definitely doesn't produce "Lots of Bubbles", only an adequate amount. Two capfuls of Coconut&Cream gives enough bubbles to cover 3/4 of the water's surface. I could use more, but considering this is only a 3.4fl oz bottle, I'd go through it rather fast that way.
I Love encourages you to "immerse yourself in the bath, relax, and unwind for 10, no 20 minutes." In my last two reviews, I complained that these bubble baths don't last very long. Coconut&Cream lasts longer than the other two, but not much.
I Love Lots of Bubbles perform better than as a shower gel. They don't have any fancy features like exfoliating, or moisturizing, but they do the job, get you clean, and make you smell pretty good. The scent doesn't linger on the skin very long and is easily over powered by any body spray or scented lotion you may apply after your bath.
I Love Lots of Bubbles aren't exceptional shower gels or bubble baths, but they are pretty good. These are great if you like to try foreign cosmetics like I do. If you're an Anglophile, Philosophy fan, or love cute packaging, you'll probably squee over these. The sampler pack is a great way to try several scents, and is also a pretty good value. If you're looking for long lasting, super foamy bubble baths or shower gels, skip these. I Love don't give you "Lots of Bubbles", but they give you a good amount for the money.
