Black and Gold Smokey Eye

A smokey eye I put together randomly with Claire's Gold Rush palette. This is a great look for reppin' the Steelers or Penguins in a classier and more unique way than the typical yellow shadow+black liner.

Step 1: Prime your eyelids.

Step 2: Add a layer of white eyeshadow base.

Step 3: Apply a light gold shadow to the inner corners.

Step 4: Next apply an orangey-gold shadow over the middle half of the lid.

Step 5: Apply a deep, brassy gold on the outer corner, blend well.

Step 6: Blend a copper shadow into the crease.

Step 7: Define the crease with a black shadow, blend upwards to mesh with the copper shadow.

Step 8: Blend out the top of the copper shadow with the same light gold shadow used on the inner corner. Blend up to the brow.

Step 9: Run the orangey- gold shadow along the lower lash line.

Step 10: Tightline and line the waterline with a black pencil liner.

Step 11: Line the upper lash line with a black gel liner.

Step 12: Apply black mascara to top and bottom lashes.
